12,500,000: It's a mind-boggling sum full of digits, but it also represents how many Stellantis vehicles have been constructed so far at the Tychy plant in Poland.

There is no such thing as a slow day at the Stellantis factory in Tychy, Poland, where the Fiat 500 and the Abarth are manufactured. Moreover, as of late September, Tychy's assembly line has just hit the incredible milestone of 12,500,000 completed units.

Because of the success of the Fiat 500, our factory has produced 12.5 million vehicles, setting a new record. The Fiat 500 has long been a fan favorite in Europe, making short of the traffic and parking challenges of driving in Europe's congested urban centers. Tomasz Gbka, Stellantis Plant Manager of Tychy, said at the ceremony, "We are also glad that, also in Poland, our Fiat 500 dominates sales tables in the segment."

A Fiat 500 Dolcevita powered by a hybrid engine, which is now on its way to the Belgian market, served as the commemorative vehicle. You may be interested that the unit before it (no. 12,499,499) was a Lancia Ypsilon Hybrid meant for the Italian market. In contrast, the unit after it (no. 12,500,001) is headed for the German market.

This staggering figure is, as one might expect, attributable to the compact Fiat 500's tremendous success in some markets where it is sold, including Portugal, where it continues to hold around 40% of the market share in its segment. Jeep Avenger is the new electric vehicle manufactured at the Tychy facility. @via Pink Bookmarks.
