Bugatti has a new version in its range, one more of the Chiron, more luxurious and more performance. The hypercar extends the range with a variant that adds a very special surname for the French firm, coinciding with the sale of the last manufactured unit of the exclusive Veyron Super Sport. It is the new Bugatti Chiron Super Sport.
Based on the exclusive Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+, the aesthetic distinction comes from a new rear, with an elongated rear that presents a more elegant style and also adds to the more luxurious character of the model. With four vertically arranged exhausts and a large diffuser that extends along the rear, although with deeper channels between the exhaust terminals.
A design with 250 extra millimetres at the rear in which aerodynamics is the real star, as the electrically retractable rear spoiler is now placed in a lower position, due to the extra rear overhang, which is not an impediment to that provides the highest downforce at high speed.
The 2022 Bugatti Chiron Chiron Super Sport is also distinguished from the rest of the versions by a special detail, inherited from the EB110 Super Sport, openings in the form of circles on the front wings, just above the wheels, on the sides of the front hood, a cooling detail that complements the open vertical gills between the front wheels and the doors. Inside, the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport offers its a new level of luxury but subtracts the proportion of carbon by betting more on polished aluminium.
Techanically, there are no differences with the Super Sport 300+, since it keeps intact the huge 16-cylinder V engine of 8.0 litres and four turbochargers, which yields a maximum power of 1,600 hp and the same maximum torque figure. The adjustments made slightly lower performance, with a maximum speed set at 440 km / h, being capable of reaching 200 km / h in 5.8 seconds and 300 km / h in 12.1 seconds. Those interested will receive their units in early 2022, upon payment of their price: 3.2 million euros.
