Ford is introducing the new E-Transit, a fully electric van of the world's best-selling van that allows a new level of connectivity, as well as business-critical characteristics, efficient model versions and premium dealer support. The standard FordPass Connect modem provides connectivity features that allow commercial vehicle customers to optimise the efficient use of their fleet: easy to find and pay for charging stations, and wireless updates to the navigation system and other features.

Pro Power Onboard makes the Ford E-Transit electric van a mobile power supply of up to 2.3 kW, allowing customers to use tools and charge equipment on-site - the first van in Europe. E-Transit's estimated autonomy is 350 km (WLTP) - about three times the average daily driving distance of an EU company car user.

Lower maintenance costs bring an estimated 40 per cent savings in total cost over the life of the car compared to a diesel model. Also, Ford E-Transit's service interval is the best in its class: a year without a mileage limit.

The new 2022 Ford E-Transit electric van models have a load capacity of up to 1,616 kg and the cab models up to 1,967 kg. The new E‑Transit will enter the European market in spring 2022.
