Dacia is starting electric mobility with the Spring Electric. The target group for the stylishly designed compact SUV are people who primarily romp around in city traffic and urban surroundings. The electric motor with its 33 kW output and the battery capacity of 27.4 kWh supply the five-door with a range of up to 230 kilometres, which is proper for everyday use. Thanks to its wheelbase of 2.42 meters and a height of 1.49 meters, the Dacia Spring offers plenty of space for the driver, passengers and luggage. The trunk has a capacity of 300 litres, with the backrest folded down, the capacity increases to 600 litres.
Even if the Dacia Spring electric car cannot shine with top speeds, at 125 km / h it is over, it still has enough other values. The technical equipment is good, with a charging capacity of 30 kW, the battery is 80 % full in less than an hour. and then there's the price ... The Dacia Spring Electric is available in five colours, red, blue, white, grey and black - all at no extra charge. The functional cockpit offers the driver all important driving information via a central 3.5-inch display between the two round instruments. Voice recognition via Google or Apple is activated by pressing a button on the multifunction steering wheel. The optional, centrally located Media-Nav multimedia system with a 7-inch screen offers navigation, DAB radio, Bluetooth functionality and a USB port, and is also compatible with Google Play and Apple Carplay.
In addition to the standard equipment with air conditioning, LED daytime running lights, hill start assist, light sensor and electric window lifters, the Comfort Plus version include a design package with orange accents, a rear parking aid with reversing camera, metallic paint and the aforementioned navigation system with 7-inch touch screen.
Moderate motorization is also reflected in consumption. Combined, the Dacia Spring draws just 13.9 kWh per 100 kilometres from the battery. The Dacia Spring electric car warranty is three years or 100,000 kilometres, the battery warranty is for eight years or 120,000 kilometres.
