A procedure called Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) was created to assist managed IT service providers Managed Service Provider in proactively and remotely keeping an eye on client PCs, networks, and endpoints. To enable remote monitoring and management, a tiny area known as an "agent" is installed on client workstations, servers, mobile devices, and other endpoints. The MSP receives data from these agents regarding the condition and health of the machine. When an issue is detected or monitored by RMM tool agents, an alert is shared with the Managed Service Provider, who then takes the appropriate action to fix the issue. Service Providers don't have to visit a client's office to fix these problems; they can do it remotely.
